The turkeys at Hedgerow Farm are free to wander the farm throughout the day. They prefer to be where ever the action is at the moment. Cars, trucks, tractors, attract them. They have hopped into open service vans, perched on the roof of the electrician’s truck and remained so even while it was driving out the farm gate. They parade across the lawn, congregate on the back porch, peer in the kitchen windows and french doors. Follow us as we garden, clean outbuildings. Guests are a most wonderful reason to appear on the scene. We must be part of their flock. Notice it is they who own us. Confirmed by the proud strut of this tom heading down the boxwood and rose garden path.
